WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard Trout Valley Wines are from Nelson New Zealand The region includes three National Parks the largest being Kahurangi known for its great natural beauty and is home to some of the finest Brown trout fishing water in the world Winemaking A cooler December and dry Sumer resulted in poor flowering and low yields throughout the Nelson region however the region had excellent growing conditions through January onwards leading to an early start to harvest This 2016 harvest with low yields has resulted in excellent wines displaying high fruit concentration elegance vibrancy and purity TASTING NOTES An elegant floral bouquet teamed with dried pears leading to a rich fleshy palate of ginger and spice Elegant rich and fleshy with ginger and spice This elegant fleshy wine makes a perfect aperitif or serve chilled with fresh fish Colour Clear straw yellow
