Grenache is Australia’s signature grape variety and Thistledown are slightly obsessed with it. Our Rosé is sourced from an old, single vineyard in Berri. Beautifully pale, salmon pink with delicate aromatics and lovely texture, it lives up to its name. This beautifully pale rosé has ovely aromatic wild strawberry and cranberry notes on the nose. The palate is tangy, dry and textural with creamy berry fruit and a deliciously moreish finish. Glossy salmon pink, with all the nice things grenache does in rosé land. Lifted strawberry smells, promising a creaminess even early on. There's just enough tang of fresh red berries, just enough talc-like feel in the mouth, just enough light spice to spruik the lingering finish. All that's needed is a sunny afternoon and fun friends.
