WINEYARD Wooing Tree is a family owned single vineyard site and winery situated in the Central Otago region of nbsp New Zealand next to the town of Cromwell and opposite the ldquo Big Fruit Sculpture rdquo WINEMAKING The ros eacute wine tasted today is made of nbsp 100 Pinot Noir grapes gown on the nbsp family-owned vineyard The pink colour results from leaving juice in contact with the grape rsquo s skins for several days prior to a gentle whole bunch press The juice was fermented in stainless steel TASTING NOTES Colour It rsquo s got an intense yet delicate pink color with a slight orange hue nbsp giving it that appealing salmon color we love in ros eacute even though it rsquo s darker that most salmon-colored ros eacute wines you come across Aroma The nose displays equally-intense strawberry aromas and is also pretty estery with subtle but clear banana notes Clean fresh and refreshing to smell Palate An abundance of ripe berries and stone fruit on the palate
