WINERY INFORMATION Located on Felton Road in Bannockburn Central Otago the Terra Sancta estate houses the first ever vines planted in this region It specializes in producing an exciting range of handcrafted wines that are consistently recognized as distinctive and memorable Mark Weldon and Sara Eliott co-established the company to produce beautiful wines that can be enjoyed by people for generations to come nbsp TASTING NOTES nbsp This robust Slapjack Block Pinot Noir features a deep crimson-red colour lined by dark hues The attractive bouquet exhibits juicy aromas of plums and dark cherries with light hints of cedar and liquorice evident in the background The lively and buoyant palate is filled with intense flavours of cherries and forest fruits intermixing with earthy undertones of mushroom lavender and wild thyme The finale is delicate and satisfying With a cellaring potential of 12 years from vintage this elegant red wine tastes marvellous with fruit-based sauces camembert and lamb stew nbsp
