At release the wine is a crimson red with soft violet tinges Lifted aromas of plum red berries and liquorice along with a hint of spice cedar and vanilla characters from oak influence A soft round and gloriously fleshy palate delivers flavours of ripe plum red berries along with subtle liquorce and chocolate finishing in a smooth and elegant fashion This is such an easy-drinking soft and approachable wine There is wonderful flavour and richness but it rsquo s not at all confronting a bit like a red wine with training wheels and a true little treasure Although made for immediate enjoyment this wine may be matured for a short term in a good cellar
