WINERY INFORMATION Behind the present day Robert Oatley Vineyards is a four decade love for viticulture vinification and marketing Having enjoyed immense success in the marketing of Papua New Guinea s cocoa and coffee beans founder Bob Oatley established Rosemount Estate in Hunter Valley and rleased his first vintages in the early 1970s The objective of the winemaking team is to produce wines with focus and varietal clarity reflecting their origin with a modern expression TASTING NOTES Wild Oats Pinot Grigio is best described as light easy to drink and low in alcohol Crafted with fruit sourced from the lush Oatley family vineyards in Mudgee this white wine features a pale straw colour with subtle green tinges As you swirl the glass for a whiff pleasing spicy aromas coupled with pear and apple characters impress you The fruity palate replicates in taste and combines with lively natural acidity to offer a delightful mouthfeel The finale is crisp and delicate This wonderful drink tastes great with deep fried seafood Asian salads or Cheddar cheese
