The Clare Valley is famous for its long-lived, minerally Rieslings - so much so, that its glorious reds are often overlooked. Rich, dense and powerful, Clare Valley reds typically have that same minerally elegance and deep complexity that stamps them with an extra level of class. This one from Mockigbird Hill comes from the famous Watervale sub-region, and is seriously good (and seriously under-priced!)
