This super limited, super tasty shiraz is a mighty powerful drop. Maverick is a South Aussie institution, a 5 red star producer with a range of top tier vinos. This bottle is a museum release, meaning the winery has been sitting on it for the past few years like a mother hen, hatching an elegant, moern shiraz packed with dark fruits. Big flavours of blackcurrant, coal and smoke combine with toasty oak characters and the result, mofos, is pretty incredible. 95 points of incredible, actually.
