London No. 1 Dry Gin

$79.99

'Its intense fragrance of florals, juniper, oranges and lemons, spices and herbs, carries cleanly through real depth of flavour.' 96 Points - Good Food Guide, goodfood.com.au The London No. 1 Dry Gin is crafted to evoke the fuller-bodied gins of the past, but with a stunning visual twist. Through te addition of gardenia flowers and bergamot oils, the gin is bottled with a striking turquoise blue colour. In fact, on first glance, you would swear that the bottle is tinted. But it's not, it's the gin. Produced in the most traditional style, using grain spirit from Suffolk and Norfolk, it is triple-distilled in small-batch, pot stills, by master distiller Charles Maxwell. Like many modern gins, seeking an old-world feel, London No. 1 is distilled with only 12 key botanicals including Angelica root, Cassia bark, cinnamon, lemon and orange peel and, of course, juniper. It is bottled at a slightly higher ABV (47%) than many other gins, to ensure a more concentrated flavour on the palate.
