Made from a blend of 70% Mourvedre and 30% Shiraz, this is a soft, smooth style of red that slips down easy and won't intrude on your conversation. Smells of red and blue fruits lift from the glass to tackle the nose hairs, along with whiffs of star anise spice and a touch of toasty oak. The palate s more medium-bodied, with red berry and dark cherry flavours, licks of spice coming through, gentle tannins, and a smooth, velvety finish. This would be great with a rich pork dish.
