WINERY INFORMATION Managed by Winston Wines since 2012 Hemera Estate is a 100-year-old vineyard located on Barossa Valley Way in Lyndoch South Australia Named after the Greek goddess of daylight the company specialises in creating a fantastic range of elegantly-styled handmade wines The Lynedch wine pays tribute to the premium wines of Bordeaux crafted with the unique touch of the Barossa TASTING NOTES Limited Release Lynedoch is a stylish blend of 15 Merlot and 42 5 Cabernet Franc grapes with 42 5 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes The resulting blend flaunts a deep ruby hue accompanied by light brown flecks The fragrant nose reveals complex aromas of blackberry and cedar with savoury and earthy hints following close behind A sip of the wine presents mulberry ripe blackcurrant and spiced cherry flavours Fine tannins drive the rich palate to a long and silky finish With a cellaring potential of 3 to 17 years this mouth-watering red blend goes well with Camembert cheese and veal rack on potato gratin with mixed mushroom ragout nbsp
