Surprising richness and power given the difficult vintage conditions, this wine has great depth and suppleness to it, with lovely savoury yet ripe dark berry fruits and crunchy red currants on thepalate. There are layers of complexity with a most attractive spice and blackberry liqueur character on the back palate.
