Old Tom Nottage was the nephew of Hradys' founder, Thomas Hardy.He worked for his uncle for more than 66 years, through two generations of the Hardy family and on his retirement it seemed only fitting that his dedication be recognised. Therefore one of Hardys' prime vineyards was renamed ottage Hill, in his honour.
