WINERY INFORMATION Fox Creek Wines was established by a small group of doctors to fulfil their lifelong passion of creating wines from bare earth and sunshine Owners Jim and Helen Watts bought the estate rsquo s vineyard in 1984 and founded the cellar door in 1996 The winemaking team headed by enior Winemaker Scott Zrna crafts these award winning wines in their 1500 tonne winery TASTING NOTES Arctic Fox Grand Cuv eacute e is a fusion of 23 Verdelho and 22 Sauvignon Blanc grapes with 55 Vermentino grapes The resulting blend features a pale straw colour with a fine bead stemming from the glass The lively bouquet emanates mesmerising scents of citrus blossom lemon sorbet and fresh leaf with suggestions of mandarin and nectarine floating in the backdrop The soft and fruity palate flaunts rich flavours of grapefruit lime lemon and white nectarine on the front making way for green apple honeydew and lemon sorbet characters These vibrant elements combine with a firm acid layer to offer a generous mouthfeel culminating in a crisp long and refreshing finale Made for consumption within a cellaring period of 3 years this enticing white blend tastes amazing with Tommy Ruff fillets in vine leaves with fennel orange salad nbsp
