WINERY INFORMATION Delamere Vineyards rsquo winemaking team specialises in the production of an exquisite range of elegant cool climate Pinot Noir wines Accomplished winemaker Fran Austin moved from Western Australia to Tasmania in 2001 to work as a Site Winemaker at Bay of Fires She received he Gourmet Traveller Young Winemaker award in 2005 Six years later Fran decided to join Delamere and help her husband Shane Holloway in carrying forward the wine business nbsp TASTING NOTES The luscious grapes used to craft Delamere Naissante Pinot Noir were handpicked wild fermented and hand plunged Post maturation in French barriques the wine flaunts a garnet colour accompanied by brick red shades This wonderful Pinot Noir offers scintillating aromas and juicy flavours of plums strawberries red cherries and currants These ripe fruit characters combine with sweet spice and earthy nuances to culminate in a fine and elegant finish This Pinot tastes excellent with garlic lamb cutlets herb roasted mushrooms and quail preparations nbsp
