WINERY INFORMATION The history behind Cullen Wines goes back to the year 1966 nbsp when founders Diana Madeline Cullen and Dr Kevin John Cullen planted their first vines in a joint partnership with Sue and Geoff Juniper Today the estate sources grapes for its award-winning wines from its certifie A Grade Biodynamic vineyards in Wilyabrup Margaret River The philosophy of the company is to capture the best quality expression of their vineyards in their wines TASTING NOTES This certified biodynamic wine is an elegant blend of 97 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with 3 Petit Verdot grapes The resulting red wine displays a deep garnet colour The bouquet is highly fragrant nbsp and offers luxurious plum cigar box and cassis aromas These fragrances are complemented by spicy undertones of bay leaf rust and lavender The savoury nose is followed by a multi-layered and intense palate filled with pure cassis fruit characters Silky tannins fuse with these incredibly ripe flavours to end the drink in a mesmerising finish The cellaring potential of this red wine is 20 to 30 years Enjoy it with Chicago style sausage pizza Gruy egrave re cheese or double chocolate cake
