This 2016 Cape Bernier Unwooded Chardonnay is an incredibly classy unoaked Chardonnay. A bright and pure white, full of juicy fruit and super crisp acidity. Think lemony, limey, stoney fruits with a searing intensity of flavour and superb balance. But don't just take our word for it as James Hlliday gave it 94 points, noting how this 'sets the pace for unwooded Chardonnay' with its 'intensity, purity and drive' noting how 'grapefruit, peach and melon are all on show plus Tasmanian acidity'.
