WINERY INFORMATION Blue Pyrenees Estate is a reputed winery started by the French company Remy Martin The winemaking team is headed by Chief Winemaker Andrew Koerner and works with the objective of producing premium and elegant cool climate wines The estate was established in 1963 and is locatd on Vinoca Road in Avoca Victoria nbsp TASTING NOTES This spectacular Estate Redfrom Blue Pyrenees is a fusion of 4 Shiraz 4 Malbec and 19 Merlot grapes with 73 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes This led to the creation of a deep ruby red coloured wine with a purple rim A whiff of the wine offers mesmerising fragrances of red berries cedar oak and forest floor The rich and smooth palate is rife with flavours of mulberry mushroom tobacco leaf and cedary oak Fine tannins integrate with the generous palate to end the wine in a lingering finish marked by choc mint and fresh berry flavours This delightful red blend can be enjoyed upon release or cellared up to 20 years Drink it with braised suckling lamb or braised beef cheeks to relish its grand fruit flavours nbsp
